A representative of the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary will be with us during the weekend Masses of May 25th and May 26th.
Founded in 1924 in Killeshandra, CO. Cavan, Ireland by Bishop Joseph Shanahan to bring the gospel to the women of Southern Nigeria, they now number over 300 sisters on mission in Africa, South America, Ireland/United Kingdom, and the US. Through education, health care, social development, pastoral care, rebuilding shattered lives in post-war situations, in Africa, Europe, and in South and Central America, the Sisters now bring their mission of Christ’s life and love to people in need.
The Sisters are a strictly missionary group with no institutions in the United States or in Canada, therefore they rely almost exclusively on funds provided through the Society for the Propagation of the Faith and the generosity of the people back home to support their sisters on a mission. They are deeply grateful for your contribution
