Thanksgiving Food Baskets for Families in Need
This holiday season, we will be providing Thanksgiving and Christmas food donations to 25 families with children who are in need of assistance.
The Thanksgiving baskets will include canned vegetables, canned yams, soup, cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, gravy, stuffing mix, cereal, muffin mix, and packaged cookies. Gift cards will be provided for the turkeys. We will distribute the food in reusable cloth bags.
If you are able to support this endeavor, the food items and cloth bags can be left in the Narthex of the Church or in the Social Hall. Monetary donations for the gift cards and food can be left in the Human Service Ministry boxes located in the Narthex of the church. Thank you!
Santa’s Auction – Tuesday, Dec 5
Women’s Guild Santa’s Auction
The Women’s Guild of Our Lady Star of the Sea invites you to join them for their Annual Santa’s Auction Tuesday, December 5th at noon.
A bagged lunch will be served at noon with the auction to follow. Please remember to bring a $15-$20 (or more) NEW wrapped gift for auction.
Tickets are $15.00 with proceeds to benefit the Human Service Ministry.
Tickets are available for purchase in the parish office during the work week and after the 9am & 11am Mass on Sunday mornings.
No Coffee and Theology with Fr Patrick This Week
Coffee and Theology with Fr Patrick is canceled on Wednesday, November 27. He will resume on Wednesday, December 4th at 9:30am in the Social Hall.
