Do, Re, Mi… ♪♪ Join the Choir!

Do you love to sing?  (Can you carry a tune…?)

Do you feel the Holy Spirit move you when singing?

Our Music Ministry is made up of adults dedicated to leading our liturgies in sung prayer.  Training is provided through weekly choral rehearsals, which resume the first week of September.

If interested in joining, please speak to our Music Minister, Alice Mikolajewski or email her at

“In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to you.” (Hebrews 2:12)

Griefshare meetings to start in September

The next series of GriefShare meetings will begin on September 6th  at 6:00pm.  The sessions will run on Thursdays from 6-8 pm, through November 15th.

The Griefshare video seminar series features some the foremost Christian experts on grief recovery topics from a biblical perspective.  Each seminar is combined with a small group discussion time to allow group participants to talk about the content of the seminar and about how they are dealing with the death of a loved one.

If you have lost a loved one, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who share in your grief and pain.  All are welcome and invited to attend.

Campaign for Human Development & African Church Collection this weekend

During the weekend of August 18th and 19th, parishes in the Diocese of Orlando will hold its annual collection for the African Church and the Campaign for Human Development.

The Catholic Campaign for Human Development was mandated by the U.S. bishops to address the root causes of poverty in America through promotion and support of self-help organizations and transformative education. The Office of Advocacy and Justice of the Diocese of Orlando receives 25% of the funds from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development for pro-life education and outreach programming. Also, grants are provided to local parishes and community groups for social justice education and outreach efforts.

The collection for the Church in Africa provides grants to finance pastoral projects that support the maintenance and growth of the Church in Africa, including outreach programs, schools, evangelization, and education of clergy and lay ministers.

Please give generously to these two worthy causes.   Thank you!
