Penance Service – December 16th

Advent is a season of preparation—a time to ready our hearts to celebrate the great mystery of God entering human history two thousand years ago to redeem us by dwelling among us. It is also a time that renews our hope in Christ’s promised return, when He will come again to bring the fullness of God’s saving plan to completion.

This opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation helps prepare our minds, hearts, and souls for Christ’s coming, which we will soon celebrate in the Christmas Mass. Our Lady Star of the Sea will hold its Advent Penance Service on Tuesday, December 16th at 10:00 a.m. (service and confessions) and at 6:30 p.m. (confessions only).
